Pyrford Lock is a short distance from the town of West Byfleet. The rest of the walk was very pleasant. The path was overgrown and the cars really fast so it was difficult to navigate with dogs. Pass through a weighted metal swing gate to an area of open grassland on the left. From the town centre turn down Pyrford Road (with Barclays Bank on your right) and continue along this road out of the town and take the left turning (Lock Lane) after about a mile. You will emerge through the far boundary of the course onto Lock Lane. The directions are great and the map is very useful, especially when crossing the golf course.
